Attending Mayan Kids with physical incapacity and learning deficits

Atitlán Spanish School Jardín de America
besides connecting students who want to volunteer in social projects also
is involved in a social Project focused in Mayan kids with physical disadvantages,
learning problems and malnutrition.
By joining the efforts of local people, we have now a team composed by
teachers, and volunteers
Location - where we are
Our meeting place is at the Spanish School, but recently we have got some
support by a local public school and we have now a class room for our
students with learning problems
Our Wish list – Volunteer opportunity
- Due to the poverty in this country, the coverage of services for people with disadvantages is very limited, we need volunteers:
- Teachers
- Doctors - nurses
- Psychotherapists, psychologist
- Volunteers with a big heart
- Preferably for a minimum of 3 weeks and the desire to share the love with this kids
- Materials needed:
- Wheelchairs
- Vitamins
- Educational materials
